ADOGO Pet Hotel was designed and created by lifelong dog lover and Twin Cities resident, John Sturgess, a leading hotel industry executive with 20-plus years working for quality, service-driven hospitality brands for companies like Carlson Hotels Worldwide, AmeriSuites (now Hyatt Place), and others.
We have an incredible team of front office, dog care specialists and cleaning staff. We worked with the best group of professionals including Shea, our design, branding and architecture company, Mason Company designed our state of the art dog room and used K9 Grass to create our specialized turf for dogs.

John brings to ADOGO the same passion he's had for more than 23 years delivering impeccable lodging experiences in the human hotel business. That means your dog is going to get the red carpet treatment at the finest pet hotel and dog daycare facility in the Twin Cities.
A resident of Eden Prairie, John has been an avid dog lover his entire life. As a leading executive of the hotel industry — including being named the Who's Who "Hotel Executive of the Year" in 2008 — John is committed to transforming the pet hotel industry by teaching it some new tricks with ADOGO. As Senior Vice President of Carlson Hotels Worldwide, John was responsible for the development of the Radisson, Park Plaza, Country Inns & Suites and Park Inn hotel brands in North and South America. It's this experience and passion for guest service that will take service and quality levels of pet care to new heights.
